Amy Pejman knows what it means to move – she’s been a licensed Realtor in three states – and she brings that knowledge and empathy to her clients here in New Jersey. With over ten years experience working in residential sales and rentals in New York City, as well as in California and here in New Jersey, she is committed to making the process of buying or selling a home as easy and stress-free as possible. Growing up in a family that moved frequently for her father’s work, she understands what’s involved in making one of the biggest decisions of anyone’s life. She also knows how important it is to have a knowledgeable Realtor who is willing to think outside the box when it comes to finding the right match for buyers and sellers.
Amy grew up on Long Island and went on to study english and history at New York University, as well as marketing with an emphasis on advertising and promotion at the Fashion Institute of Technology. She began her real estate career at a boutique residential agency in Soho. She has also worked in corporate relocation for such diverse clients as Credit Suisse and Goldman Sachs.
Amy has also had experience as a teacher and considers education part of her job. Though she balances her work between buyers, sellers and renters, she enjoys assisting first-time home buyers, who often need extra guidance through all the steps involved in finding, financing and purchasing a home. A self-described Type A personality, Amy is ready with answers “almost before the question is asked”. She views every challenge in the sales process as a puzzle that she can figure out, and to that end, Amy has built a large network of service providers who can help with advice on everything from septic inspections to construction issues.
Working with Kienlen Lattmann Sotheby’s International Realty (KLSIR) is a perfect complement to Amy’s view of real estate. “The focus here is on quality, not quantity,” she says. As a 2019 Circle of Excellence Silver winner with over $6.5 million in sales, she also appreciates KLSIR’s advanced marketing tools that give her clients a distinctive and competitive edge.
A resident of Mendham for five years, Amy has enjoyed raising her children here and getting to know all areas of her husband’s home state. She loves promoting the area to her clients and views each one as a potential neighbor. She is an active participant in her children’s school and at church, and when she finds time, works in ceramics and creative home projects. But most of all, she enjoys spending time with her family, whether skiing, spending time at the Shore or just gathering around the dinner table. As she says, “There’s no place like home.”
